Split rent and bills with your roommates

Kwitsy keeps a running tab for your flat: who paid the rent, the internet and the groceries, and who owes whom. It's free, has no ads and no limit on how many expenses you add.

Rent that isn't split evenly

Bigger room, bigger share. Split by exact amounts, percentages or shares (for example 3 : 2 : 2), and set it as the group's default so every new bill starts that way. You can still change it for any one expense.

Bills that come back every month

A shared pot for the kitchen

Everyone puts money into the pot; groceries and cleaning supplies are paid from it. Kwitsy shows how much is left.

Questions

How do we split rent when the rooms are different sizes?

Split it by exact amounts, percentages or shares (for example 3 : 2 : 2) and save that as the group's default split, so every new bill starts that way.

Can Kwitsy add the monthly bills for us?

Yes. Mark rent, internet or any bill as repeating and it's added automatically. For bills that change each time, like electricity, Kwitsy asks for the new amount when it's due.

What happens when a roommate moves out?

Mark them as moved out: they stay in the balances until they've settled, but aren't added to new bills.

Is it really free?

Yes. No ads, no limit on expenses, and your data is never sold.
