Made to keep friendships simple
Exact to the cent
$100 between three people is $33.34, $33.33 and $33.33. Every split adds up perfectly, and you can always see why.

Friends in two countries?
Everyone adds how they like to be paid back (UPI, Pix, MB WAY, Bizum or a bank QR code), and you pay each friend their way, in their currency.
- Add each cost in the currency it was paid in. Kwitsy keeps balances in each currency, or shows them all in one at that day's reference rate where available.
- Friends join from a link, no account needed.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Adding, splitting and settling up are free, with no limit on how many expenses you add and no ads. That's a promise, not a trial. AI helpers (like receipt scanning) and uploads have a daily allowance, and a few limits stop spam.
Does Kwitsy move money?
No. You pay each other however you like (cash, bank transfer, UPI, Venmo, PayPal…) and record it in Kwitsy. We never hold your money.
Do my friends need an account?
No. They can join from your invite link as guests and add expenses from their browser, then make an account later to keep their history.
Can I bring my groups from Splitwise?
Yes. In Splitwise (app or website), open the group or friend and choose Export (in the app) or Export Spreadsheet (on the website), then import that file into Kwitsy. Every expense and person comes across, and your friends claim their names from your invite link.
Is my data private?
Members can see their group, and anyone with an enabled invite or read-only link sees what that link shares. Some expense suggestions use AI automatically; see Privacy for what's sent. We don't sell data or show ads, and you can download everything whenever you like.
Is there an app?
Yes. Kwitsy works in any browser, or get the Android app on Google Play. On iPhone, add it to your home screen (in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen) and it opens like an app. You can even add expenses offline.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. Tap “Try it now” for a sample trip with made-up friends: add expenses, split them and settle up. It disappears after a day.
Which languages and currencies?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Hindi, and everyone in a group can pick their own. Record expenses in 57 currencies: automatic daily reference rates where available; otherwise enter a rate or keep separate balances.
Who makes Kwitsy?
Kwitsy is made by Kramatics LLC, a small independent company. The basics stay free, with no ads and no selling data. If Kwitsy ever closes, you'll get at least 90 days' notice to download everything.
What if I want to leave?
Go any time. Export any group as a spreadsheet, or in the same layout Splitwise exports, which apps with a Splitwise importer can read. Your data is yours, and you can delete your account in Account settings.
